Yellow Ray Consulting Group Inc. has been in business since 1986, previously operating as Optima Research Inc. and Templeman Consulting.
Yellow Ray's original business focus was statistical data analysis. Over the past 30 years, it became obvious clients needed as much or more help managing data. Data management, data governance, data stewardship and general information management has become a key part of our business.
Ron Templeman, is the CEO and Director of Yellow Ray Consulting Group Inc. Ron is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, majoring in Statistics and a minor in Physics. Ron has over 35 years of experience in statistical data analysis, and 25 years or more experience working with databases, programming and data-science work in general.
Vladyslav Tyshchenko is an employee of Yellow Ray Consulting Group Inc. He received a master's degree in software engineering in the Ukraine and now has close to 3 years experience in the field. Vlad worked for one of the largest web development companies in Ukraine as a full-stack developer where he participated in the development and migration, to modern standards, of the codebase and database for a machine building manufacturer. Vlad now resides in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and he continues to improve his skills as a developer with YRCGI.
Christine Perrault is an employee of Yellow Ray Consulting Group Inc. Her commitment to continuously learning and adapting to web development trends and challenges has made her a great addition to the team. Christine also helps manage our Linux servers, PostgreSQL database and data backups. Christine lives in Calgary, Alberta with her partner and two children.
Kayla Strong is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Calgary. Her research explores modelling applications for Antimicrobial Resistance within the Canadian Beef Production system. Kayla also works as a data scientist with the Surveillance of Antimicrobial Use and Antimicrobial Resistance in Canadian Feedlot Cattle Project. Before joining the University of Calgary, Kayla worked as Risk Lead in Scenario Analytics at the Centre for Risk Studies, Cambridge Judge Business School (2016-2019). Kayla holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Geography) from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Arts (Risk) from Durham University.
